I am a Returned Peace Corps volunteer, just back from 27 months living in Almaty, Kazakhstan and trying to readjust to life  in the industrialized world.  I am originally from New Jersey, but lived for most of my adult life in the city of Angeles in California.  I have also lived in San Francisco, B'eit She'an Israel, Edinburgh and now Kazakhstan.  I love to travel, and am looking for a way to blend my love of travel, social justice, public health, advocacy, peace and yoga, while being able to support myself.  I fell in love with a beautiful and wonderful woman from Kazakhstan and am now searching for a way for us to be together, despite the ignorance and intolerance that shapes the laws of my country.  I work on issues of Peace from the inside out, knowing that I can not work on Political and social peace if I do not have peace myself.  I hate punctuation and capital letters because it seems to slow down my typing so i often don't bother.  Or let's say i inconsistently pay attention to punctuation and capital letters. I am passionate about women's rights, especially in the developing world where they are so often lowest priority (a large portion of the world's poor are women and their children).  If I were to choose a hero it would be Durga, with her fierce compassion!
